Re: Filezilla Assertion Failed

After clearing the assertion failed warning, Filezilla works just fine. But the warning does show up every time the application starts - cancelling the 'show this dialog next time' doesn't seem to do anything. So this is just a minor annoyance.

Re: Filezilla Assertion Failed

Hi there, I am getting the same error now with version 3.30.0, release: 37. I am up-to-date as of today. Here is the error: ASSERT INFO: ./src/gtk/toplevel.cpp(988): assert "m_widget" failed in Show(): invalid frame BACKTRACE: [1] wxTopLevelWindowGTK::Show(bool) [2] wxTopLevelWindowBase::Destroy() [...

Re: What do you use Solus for?

I use it for the standard web browsing/email/netflix/fubotv/music stuff. I am also a mathematics teacher, so I use Atom to write/compile LaTex documents, Gedit for webpages, and GeoGebra for making graphs for course notes. I use the GeoGebra portable, which is not ideal - wish it was in the repo - t...

Re: What to use under Solus?

It is still sudo. The package manager is eopkg instead of apt, so if you want to install something, sudo eopkg install <name of app>. If you type eopkg help, you will see all the options for eopkg. Hope that helps!
