Re: Snaps or Flatpak? I'm a bit confused

Thanks for the response. I'm not really biased towards any of them but is there any way or are there any plans to support theming in snaps? Also why were the Snaps chosen over Flatpaks? Is it because of better Third party support and publicity? Read this and this Thanks for the references! I know t...

Re: Snaps or Flatpak? I'm a bit confused

I've read these articles some time ago and I've seen that Snaps are going to be integrated into Software repository in Solus 4, so I'm getting pretty confused about Solus's relationship to Snap/Flatpak and what will ultimately replace the third party repository, or perhaps both? https://solus-proje...

Re: BUG: After longer time of not running PC it fails to load login screen

Two things I see that can cause issue: First you have no swap space, or more likely you do but something has happened to it since install, and as you have only 4 Gig ram, you really need to sort that out to prevent any freezes due to using up your ram (believe me I know, this old laptop I'm on only...

Re: BUG: After longer time of not running PC it fails to load login screen

Your mobo appears to have an onboard Intel GPU so that could be causing issues, try booting with the param 'nomodeset' to see if that improves things: https://solus-project.com/articles/troubleshooting/boot-management/en/#appending-kernel-parameters-to-solus-boot The freeze sessions sounds like X s...

Re: BUG: After longer time of not running PC it fails to load login screen

Kernel loads normaly, I can access CTRL + ALT + F1 It seems to be connected with login manager itself, but the str...

BUG: After longer time of not running PC it fails to load login screen

I'm not sure if I'm writing this issue in the correct section so I'd like to ask someone to replace it if it needs to be anywhere else :) There is this strange bug that happens every morning when I turn the PC on. It loads the system but fails to show the login screen, it only happens once and after...

Hello everyone!
