Location services always on?

Is it possible, that the location services in Solus Budgie are always enabled even if they should be off? If I open Gnome Clocks or Gnome Maps in Budgie they're apparantly able to use my current location even though I switched them off in the privacy settings and even in the dconf editor. https://i....

They might work in GNOME. But, they don't work in Budgie. At least it didn't for me.
I for one can confirm that those shortcuts don't seem to work in Budgie.
I use the screenshot applet instead for now.

Re: Netspeed and Temp on Panel

But if the desktop is Gnome, should it be developed by Solus or Gnome? If you're using Solus' Gnome Edition I'd assume you'd be able to simply install the system-monitor plugin from the gnome extensions website ( Link ) using your firefox browser and the gnome extensions add-on. Re: Disable IPv6 access when using VPN

I solved this by adding a kernel boot flag.

Try this:

Code: Select all

echo 'ipv6.disable=1' | sudo tee /etc/kernel/cmdline
Don't forget to update the boot manager afterwards:

Code: Select all

sudo clr-boot-manager update
Reboot. That should do it.

Could you elaborate on the 'partnerships' part or point into a direction to learn about their partnerships?
Thank you.
