Re: Latest update, Touchpad right-click no longer works.

Ok, after hours of googling I think I have solved this. 1. In terminal type: gsettings get org.gnome.desktop.peripherals.touchpad click-method If the output is 'fingers' you have the same issus as I did. Now you can smile. 2. To restore right-click on touchpad type: gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.p...

Re: Latest update, Touchpad right-click no longer works.

I have the same problem too on Samsung laptop. Well, at least you notice how often right-click is actually used. :D

Hope they fix it quickly.

Re: Running Solus as guest on Virtualbox and cannot install Virtualbox guest additions

Thanks for the tip. Didn't know that we have LTS option too.

Yes indeed, guest additions build just fine with LTS kernel. This is fine as workaround until the current gets fixed.

Re: Running Solus as guest on Virtualbox and cannot install Virtualbox guest additions

I can confirm this also on Windows 7 host. It seems to be related recent kernels released in past two weeks or so. The latest kernel where guest additions could be built successfully was 4.15.5-56.

Re: Intel graphics screen tearing

My laptop has Intel Ivy Bridge integrated graphics only, so I cannot test with other GPU. Anyway answers to your question: 1) No tearing in budgie itself (when m...

Re: Screen tearing

I think this is quite common problem, not solved as far as I know. I have the very same issue.

Some references about it that I found:

Hope it gets some attention sooner than later, don't like using Chrome.
