mpd broken by recent updates

Hi, The last update (or the one before that) broke my mpd. It used to start on bootup with systemd, now I get this: mk6ve@finn ~ $ systemctl --user -l status mpd ● mpd.service - Music Player Daemon Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib64/systemd/user/mpd.service; enabled; vendor preset: enabled) Active: failed (...

Re: Issues with Deadbeef

I imagine the general workflow for music players is put files in ~/Music and then the player can open and manage new files that appear there. Sure, I don't mind that, all of my music dirs are there, or at least symlinked there. The problem is that the 'modern' players don't allow you to browse the ...

Re: Issues with Deadbeef

To be clear, I compiled the plugin fresh only once it's been suggested in this thread. Unfortunately I've not been able to get it to work and have given up. This is not great because looking at the other options in Solus, most of the shiny cool new GTK players can't really browse the actual files (L...

Re: Issues with Deadbeef

I just compiled the source using instructions from https://gitlab.com/zykure/deadbeef-fb/tree/release, but it still crashes the program when activated.

Any ideas?

Re: Issues with Deadbeef

Sorry, I was away from the Internet for a week. ldd output seems... fine? mk6ve@finn ~ $ ldd /home/mk6ve/.local/lib/deadbeef/ddb_misc_filebrowser_GTK2.so linux-vdso.so.1 (0x00007ffc74351000) libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0 => /usr/lib64/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0 (0x00007f7c26419000) libatk-1.0.so.0 => /usr/lib64/liba...

Re: Issues with Deadbeef

Sorry, I don't know whether gtk3 GUI plugin is any better. I just thought switching could be something to try, but with the Solus build it doesn't seem possible or I haven't figured out how to do it. This might be just an issue with the file browser plugin... but the deadbeef version hasn't changed ...

Issues with Deadbeef

Hi, I've been using Deadbeef as my music player on Solus without issues since 1.0. Recently (~3-4 weeks ago?), the player stopped turning on and I found out the filebrowser plugin is to blame. Now I removed it and when I try to put it back in, the program crashes immediately. Has anyone experienced ...

VPN with vpnc (cisco)

Hi devs, I need to use a Cisco VPN and I found the vpnc package in the repos (suggested by the VPN provider), but it doesn't include a network-manager plugin or any sort of interface. Am I missing something or is there another package missing, like the networkmanager-openvpn and networkmanager-openc...

Move to workspace

Hi,

I have a small suggestion/request: add a 'move to workspace' to the menu you get when you right-click window title bars? Also, add the ability to move directly to workspace # instead of just left/right?

Cheers
