Bug reports best go on https://dev.solus-project.com/

This is resolved by updating python-beautifulsoup4, which is the error in the output

Re: Gromacs running but not installed

Checked - journalctl -b and found Gromacs running a startup search every 12 minutes. I checked installed software and it is Not installed. Why ? https://www.pastiebin.com/5a8a541173556 Well looking at the output, it's talking about gromacs 4.6.5. This has never been part of Solus and is the version...

Re: Boot into GRUB rescue after fresh install

It appears as if it hasn't been installed with EFI (which will happen if the live USB isn't booted in EFI mode). On the live ISO, make sure the directory /sys/firmware/efi/ exists (if it does, it booted with EFI). Grub in Solus doesn't support NVMe drives, as it's for legacy installations. Common re...

Re: Task list doesn't resize

If I add too many tasks to task list, it goes off the screen pushing anything to the right of it off the screen as well. It's a known issue on the budgie github (which I don't have a link to offhand). It's unlikely to be fixed before budgie 11, with testing showing it works automatically when using...

Re: Implement Ubuntu-like QoL improvements to the Solus GNOME spin

I do actually use Solus GNOME. My main laptop is still running Ubuntu (17.10) because I'm too lazy to reinstall the system from scratch, but my backup laptop is running Solus (currently GNOME, sometimes I switch to Budgie). And yes it is not a purely default GNOME-Shell experience OOTB, some stuff ...

I have tried uninstalling all video drivers except for the proprietary nvidia driver
I imagine that both monitors would be most likely to work without the binary driver, as X will be setup to use that

Re: Implement Ubuntu-like QoL improvements to the Solus GNOME spin

Have you tried Solus GNOME? It does come with extensions to improve the out of the box experience (which was done well before they were included elsewhere).

Ahhh Fantastic, thanks
For a longer term fix, copy the file to ~/.local/share/applications and edit it there (the version in /usr/share will be overwritten whenever the package is installed/updated
