Re: What drew you to Solus?

You could also install WPS Office from the third party page. WPS is pretty much a Microsoft Office clone, I use it everyday and have encountered zero issues. New issue with this suggestion: WPS is not on the third party page. Yes it is, just checked. https://wiki.solus-project.com/3rdParty#Office

Re: What drew you to Solus?

I've already put in a "bug report" to get SoftMaker Office included. Yes, it's not freeware, but it is MUCH more compatible to M$Office than Libre/Open. Virtually none of my old-style games are here -- some version of Minesweeper, Mahjohnng, Nethack, PySol. And Skype. Which someone said will be in ...

This can be accomplished by opening the terminal and issuing the following command sudo gedit /etc/systemd/l...

Re: Move to a rolling release model

Nothing beats a rolling distribution, and if the Solus team can keep it as fast and stable as it right now it will become the best distribution out there.

Re: Using PiSI/eopkg

Does pisi have any command to remove packages that are not being used (orphans)? Something in the lines of "sudo apt autoremove" to give an example.

Re: US Dvorak keyboard layout during install

The same happened to me, I needed the Latin American keyboard. The way I fixed it was to simply select it from the options AFTER I installed the system and problem solved.

cheers
