Re: HiDPI Displays

Install Gnome Tweak Tool.
In Display Settings, set display scaling to 100%.
In Gnome Tweak Tool, go to the Fonts tab.
Set Font Scaling to between 1.25 and 1.5. 1.45 seems to be "just right," where I can have both a terminal window and Firefox open without alt-tabbing.

Just a couple things

1. Some apps don't seem to want to pin to the panel, like LibreOffice Writer. Others seem to need a logout in order for the pin option to appear, like Chrome.

2. On a laptop, closing the lid doesn't seem to lock the screen.

3. That's about it for my suggestions. Keep up the good work!

When you update Solus 1.2, you will upgrade to 4.7 kernel, gnome 3.20 and qt 5.6. Ther...

Re: Move to a rolling release model

Love the work so far. Thanks for LMDE, too. Not a big fan of Ubuntu, mostly the direction they've gone, so when I saw LMDE, was pretty stoked. Anyhow, I'm just wondering how switching to a rolling release will affect 1.2 users? Is there going to be an opt-in of some sort, like an upgrade, or will th...
