Re: 1.2 First Impression

Can definitely autostart the installer in future yeah That would be a good move, I was hovering over the panel icons looking for tool tips. @DFergFLA If screen 1 autostarts then it's become a welcome screen that you can run the installer from. Would there be any sense in adding more links there, as...

Re: New installer suggestion

As for the distinct data volumes, I'd like to investigate this for the next release after 1.2 - let me know if interested in testing I'd love to help you in any way a simple end user can, I'm pleased you find some merit in my suggestion. :D I would like to suggest some things for your live ISO as t...

Re: New installer suggestion

Sundays with Solus #3

I enjoyed JoshStrobl's latest google hangouts, it's good to hear how our benevolent dictator(Ikey) is going about his work of looking after us endusers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDSb_RLlkC0 Sadly I can't use Solus as I use Kodi to watch the bike and car racing but now with this automated syst...

Re: LiveISO desktop thoughts

Hi friend Ikey :) You have been on a long journey since LMDE and you look to have gathered a good crew on the way, I can't help but be impressed with Justin, he's like you very patient/tolerant hard working. I like the direction Xfce have taken with rows in the panel and the ability to auto expand a...

LiveISO desktop thoughts

Just me an average user having a thought spasm after installing Solus a few times. I loved SolusOS 1 because it defaulted to an "English(UK)" keyboard. 1 I hate Solus 1 because it defaults to a (English(US) keyboard and I had to navigate an unfamiliar menu and then log out/in to change it. I timidly...

Hi Balloon ;)
I read your recent post on the SolydXK forum regarding the Japanese Community ISO's you created with SolydXK Creator are you thinking of doing a Japanese translation of Solus? http://forums.solydxk.com/viewtopic.php ... 624#p57624

Re: New installer suggestion

Actually, I've already been brainstorming ideas for a label-system in the partition stage. Thanks for the input! I thought I might be trying to teach my granny how to suck eggs  An unusual practice I've adopted is to use a swap file on my data partition rather than a swap partition. Anthony No...
