<ikey -reddit>I know people typically expect rebuttal for posting negative stuff, but it's not that, it's actionable feedback that we can use to improve. So - the more the merrier! :) I've also realised you open this thread specifically with the purpose of discouraging people from supporting Solus....

Dell says it has ‘no plans’ to start shipping its Linux-powered developer laptops with anything other than Ubuntu.
Could Solus change this? :)

I could easily make a custom live ISO of Ubuntu Budgie with a couple of clicks of Refracta tools and already be running a desktop totally in ram but that's a kinda arse up and back to front way of doing it to just get the Budgie desktop when i would like to be using and supporting the Solus project ...

Fedora has a script for converting changes to the Live system into a new image , can this be made to work with Solus?
