Brisk Menu (Mate) - replace stock icon with another

Hi,

I'm poking around in dconf editor, but notice there isn't an option to change the default brisk menu icon.

Wondering if it's possible...?

Thanks,

FIrefox Nightly script - has anyone tried it?

Found this script over at Solus Reddit... https://pastebin.com/9U5JsJ2V.

Just wondering if anyone has used it, and if it auto-updates and adds Nightly to the Solus menu properly?

Thanks for any replies.

Congrats Justin! We hope you can continue to hang around (and bail us out) when you have some free time.

Re: Money for bug fixes?

The point of the OP is that there may already a disproportionate amount of bug filers vs. bug fixers. With the popularity of Solus increasing, and the DE on a transitionary path, I think it's a fair enough question for the community. Just visiting the Dev channel, you'll see the volume facing just a...

Re: Printers not available when offline

Etamuk, What you're looking for is called "queue". The printer software is always "on", then when you turn your printer on, the "queue" will then print. I don't use it, but I'm sure it's possible. Go to Menu>Print Settings>Server>Settings>Advanced Server Settings...then, perhaps you can experiment w...

Re: security updates

I've encountered the very same thing at one time. What I did to solve the issue was to uninstall the software center via terminal... sudo eopkg remove solus-sc Then reinstall the software center... sudo eopkg install solus-sc The software center is a work in progress and can experience some rare hic...

Re: Printers not available when offline

Sure, you can manually add both printers in Solus. Right now, the auto printer find always initiates at boot. I'm not aware of a way to disable that check, although it may be possible or will be possible in the future. Think I've seen a bug report on that over in the Dev channel. Turn both printers ...

Re: Google Chrome Issue

That just looks like a temporary blip when trying to access Google. Maybe just a SSL cert (https) quirk that Chrome is simply alerting (aka: scare) you to. It happens. There's a big push in the browser war relative to encrypted connections and the warnings that the browser triggers. If you can acces...

Re: Firefox Quantum and Tab Mix Plus alternatives

That's great, thanks for adding those possibilities.

I choose the easy (lazy) method! :D

Firefox Quantum and Tab Mix Plus alternatives

With Tab Mix Plus in the process (but not quite ready yet), here are a couple "new tab" add-on links with familiar attributes that I've stumbled across recently. One automatically opens new tabs from bookmarks, while the other new tabs from search bar entries. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo...
