Hello everyone, I searched without success a package in Solus that make the same thing as Checkinstall that I use on Debian (it creates a .deb when we compile from sources by using the command checkinstall make install, so we can remove it later easily and properly with apt). The test is positive : it works !
Now when the password is asked, the username is mine in place of root so my password is accepted.
The plugin is installed and I can print with the wifi network 8-)

[solved] HP 1102w printer firmware refuses the sudo user password

Hello, I have a HP printer 11002w that needs a specific driver to works with wifi networks. The HP device manager can download and install the firmware but it demands the root password.
