Backgrounds in MATE not saving

I like MATE, but this one thing is bugging me royally. You right-click on the desktop to change your wallpaper. I don't want the ones already there, so I removed them and put the one I want to have at the moment. Then I go do that again, and my wallpaper is there with all the ones I've removed. I kn...

[Request] What about Waterfox?

Some people are discouraged with what Firefox is doing (Pocket, thing they plan on rolling to 1% of users in Germany, etc.). What about Waterfox in the repo? https://www.waterfoxproject.org/ .

Thank you for your time :)

Re: What do you use Solus for?

I put Solus 3 on my laptop and gaming PC. Very satisfied with them both. The last ISO that was released couldn't install with my NVIDIA card(not without installing it first and then using the Live CD to access the new system to change a hidden file) but this one did with no problems. Games run great...

WINE

In order to get PlayOnLinux to start and using WINE properly, I had to install the 32-bit version of WINE separately. Is there any way to have the 32-bit a dependency? Maybe the same thing for the NVIDIA driver (I didn't use DoFlicky, so if it does this, my bad). Sorry if this is the wrong place to ...

Re: Some ideas for the software center

I also would like the ability to install a tag a whole bunch of apps at once instead of installing them one at a time, like you can do in Synaptic and Pamac. Maybe there's a way outside the terminal to do this, and this is mostly a bigger deal when I do a fresh install. If doing an 'install all the...

Re: How is everyone?

Hello! I'm new here and I like it here! My experience with Linux: dabbled in Ubuntu way back in 10.10 (I got one of those free shipped dvds!) and then gave it up after having stability issues and just not being very interested in putting in the effort to learn it. Then in the past few months decide...

Backgrounds doesn't save in MATE

I've had this problem in Antergos MATE and it eventually solved itself the next time I looked at the backgrounds or logged in. I installed Solus MATE and cannot put more than one background because it doesn't save anything more. Any way to fix this would be appreciated. *EDIT* I believe that I have ...

New Dood

I've been watching SOLUS since it's been a rolling release. MATE is my current favorite DE at the moment, so I threw it on my laptop to keep an even closer look at it. I've tried Budgie for a month months ago and it was pretty sweet. I look forward to future developments.
