Re: Graphics is not working after the las update

How can I keep nomodeset for every boot? Right now, I have to write it everytime. I have found information for Ubuntu, but it does not seem to work in Solus From the Solus Help Center: https://solus-project.com/help-center/categories/ " Appending kernel parameters to Solus boot Kernel parameters ca...

Re: iso's need a refresh

This is what is left to be done before the next iso: https://dev.solus-project.com/T5010 Budgie 10.5 is done as i understand it: https://youtu.be/6d40jbAKEcs?t=35796 >>Update<< Well almost it seems: "At this moment in time, it’s primarily tackling issues with Icon Tasklist as well as continued polis...

Re: iso's need a refresh

It's not even a matter of cutting down on wasted time (wherein a few hours' work for the Solus team translates to thousands of hours saved for users). It's a security issue. Although it's unlikely, doing a fresh install from a very old ISO just reactivates old vulnerabilities. On the off chance tha...

Re: Raven Sidebar Improvements

A lot of work is being done to improve the Raven notification system: https://plus.google.com/+Solus-Project https://youtu.be/6d40jbAKEcs?t=21357 https://youtu.be/6d40jbAKEcs?t=35669 I would guess that this will be fixed in Budgie 10.5, which is just around the corner, or as the devs would say it......

Re: Clean Solus up

Hi In my experience there really is not much maintenance needed if any, for the Solus user to do. This is by far of any operating system i have ever used, the system that need the least time & effort to keep clean, i spend a tiny fraction of the time i used to, and i LIKE it :!: 8-) I use "Bleachbit...

Re: Few Questions From a New Solus User

I am not aware of other scaling tools sorry. For me adjustments to "Budgie Settings" > "Fonts" > "Interface" make the fonts in the budgie menu, file manager and programs like Firefox larger. The panel scale is adjusted in "Budgie Settings" > "Buttom Panel" > "Settings" > "Size" What resolution are y...

Re: Few Questions From a New Solus User

3) What is the command for terminal to restart the Bluetooth service? Sometimes, randomly, the Bluetooth service claims it cannot find my Bluetooth device. I had this on other versions of Linux and restarting the service often resolved it. It's been a while sinc Looked around in the forum regarding...

Re: Few Questions From a New Solus User

Hi and welcome CoffeeAddict. Which version of Solus are you using Solus Budgie, GNOME or MATE ? Have you done a full system update yet ? I would recommend that you do that manually the first time, after that you can update through the Software Center. 1) Open a "terminal" and type: sudo eopkg up 2) ...
