Re: [Solved]Why can't move to the next step after click the Start using?

While I won't tell you what to do with your installation .. this is likely something that's inadvisable to do :) I know, I would never do this on a computer that I primarily use for day to day usage. As I said, I bought this computer for experimentation, so I knew the risks way before I even had it...

Re: [Solved]Why can't move to the next step after click the Start using?

Ah, thanks. It's relieving. I use my desktop mainly for experiments, so I manually added some unsupported libraries (extracted from .debs), so I had to deal with the display manager failing to start, but I didn't have the strength to try fixing it, so I just reinstalled several times (yes, I'm conti...

Re: Solus installation stalls

Thanks, It's quite possible that there are bad sectors, it's my oldest flashdrive (from around 8 years ago).
I haven't gotten around to reinstalling Solus yet, but I will sometime this week.

Solus installation stalls

For some odd reason, the installation stalls in the middle for me while copying the files to the hard drive, at no specific files. It has never happened to me, and I had reinstalled Solus multiple times on this desktop (Custom: Mobo is Intel DH55HC) without any issues. The installer is still respons...

What's the problem with capitals in the hostname?
After installing and running sudo gnome-control-center and adjusting it from there I didn't have any issues using Solus when there were capitals in the hostname.

Re: Solus Beginner User problem

Sorry for not having been online for a long time. I'm pretty absentminded + had a lot of things to do + had to reinstall Solus ( and Antergos, Ubuntu, Remix OS, and Fedora) multiple times (Solus and Antergos are the only permanent distros on my desktop PC, laptop is on Windows 10 x64 + x86 out of ne...

Re: GPU Support - Join In

Graphics is no longer an issue.
UEFI works now, but boots extremely slowly.
Wi-FI unchanged.
But nothing wrong with GPU (Intel HD Graphics 520), so I'm moving to the "Do you run Solus on your laptop" thread to stay relevant.

Re: Solus 1.0 Released

No problems here, however Wi-Fi still does not work on my laptop.
I'll post the model of the antennae (Internal) when I'll get home, however it's a relatively new AC one from RealTek.
I'm moving to the "Do you run Solus on your laptop" thread to stay relevant, so any assistance will be welcome there.

Re: Solus Beginner User problem

I have a similar issue when attempting to type in Hebrew (I have recently tried to type in Hebrew). When I try to type in Hebrew, just english is coming out. I have tried to change the keyboard shortcut, thinking that perhaps there was an issue with the keyboard, but to no avail. As a side note, I c...

Re: GPU Support - Join In

Yes, I'm booting from a DVD, I'm pretty constrained in mediums, only recently getting a debit card and a job (I'm also preparing towards university studies, perhaps next year). However, I did clear up one of my flashdrives, and I tried booting from it, and recieved the same exact results, albeit mor...
