Shotcut (17.03.02) - Jobs always pending....

Hi,

I installed Shotcut yesterday and tried to export a video as another media format, but all I'm getting is job PENDING
Tried different formats, but no luck.

Is There any error message? Try opening it from the terminal and see if there's any output messages

I've made an array of changes to mlt and shotcut. Would love to hear how it works once you receive the update to 17.05 (should be a couple of days). It will pull in a few extra dependencies as well.

Is there anyway to provide something so that I can produce this locally? I'm not sure there's much else that can be added to make this work.

Only thing I could think of is to try a 'simple' conversion which should work and try that.
Not sure what else is possible. More debugging? Looking at system configuration? Maybe clashes with other apps?

Happy to try different things to see how to get this resolved.
