What options do I have for multiple clipboard?
I would also like to install a text expander like auto key

Hi, I'm brand new to Solus, but one of my favorite clipboard pieces of software is CopyQ.
https://sourceforge.net/projects/copyq/

I don't think it's in the repos, but here is the GitHub page for it:
https://github.com/hluk/CopyQ/releases

I haven't tried compiling it or anything of the like on Solus, so I wish I could be more help, but just wanted to let you be aware of it.

clippit is in the Solus repository, and is a pretty decent clipboard manager.

Not sure about text expansion, but this might work for you: https://github.com/leehblue/texpander The tools it depends on are also in the repo.

Thanks you! I'm aware of copyq / ditto and so on - on my linux mint.
I have no idea on how to compile - If there is a walk through guide, I'm happy to try. Otherwise will wait until it appears on the third party tab.

There are installation instructions for "unlisted systems" on GitHub:
https://github.com/hluk/CopyQ/blob/master/INSTALL
Just looking at it makes it seem pretty straightforward.

At some point, I'm going to go through Solus's packaging tutorials, but I can't make any promises! My time is very limited lately with a newborn! Good luck.
