Only apply this if you have screen tearing using an nvidia graphics card.

I am trying to do what you suggest on the video but I don't seem to have those options. I am facing screen tearing with my Nvidia card 920m but not with my intel integrated card.I need to use my nvidia card as I play some games.any thoughts??

What is the deal if i don't see these advanced settings? Pressing the button reveals nothing on my laptop (Asus X550VB) with GT 740M.
xorg.conf file doesn't have much information too - https://i.imgur.com/LMwjuNp.png. Does that mean, that driver doesn't support my GPU or what?
