What a laptop should i buy?

Wed Apr 26, 2017 3:11 pm

I need a new laptop soon. my laptop isnt working very well at the time... (touchpad buggy, loud, short batterylife, and heavy and so on)
Can you recommend me? It should be as cheap as possible (<500 €) and quiet / fanless and light

And he should work with solus ...
and he dont have to be installed windows...

If you have a laptop which applies to my requirements write me :D
Thank you

A lot have been written and said about HP and Dell being at the top,

but to me Lenovo are the most honest laptops and they meet perfectly

all of your requirements!

The final choice however is yours mate! :)

http://www3.lenovo.com/de/de/laptops/id ... 80SV00S8GE

this is interesting :D
is a "little bit" more cost intensive... but its a really good laptop i think

so i will buy it if my acer is death (if they have not a better laptop with lower cost at the time :D)

Glad you appreciate the Lenovos too, they are the most Linux friendly to my experience!

The one you have found is very interesting: powerful, classy and windows free!!! ;)

After a brief research I made in the net I found it is very quiet and cool, it has nice keyboard

and many other benefits. The only cons are the slow HDD, the weak battery (in case you are

planning to use it outdoors) and the screen color accuracy that can be improved too.

If I was you and really needed it, I would go for it running, but if your Acer still gets the job

done and you have two more Lenovos waiting I would wait a bit more!!! :) :) :)

A Lenovo G500s may also meet your needs, although you would looking at the used market.
Experience is what we get when we don't get what we want. And I have tons of experience...

I have a Lenovo Ideapad 310 and it works pretty amazing, because U know, we can't ask too much demands to a laptop on this budget.
