Change WIndow Manager

what steps do i take to change the window manager in Solus? i have budgie installed and want to change to i3wm with i3blocks.

Just install i3. Then go to your Display Manager. The starter page that you log-in. If you got yours setup to auto log like me. Just log yourself out and your back at your Display Manager. From there you should be able to choose i3 instead of Budgie to boot into. After you install i3 of course.

Your welcome. It's neat where you can jump between your GUI DE and into your Window Manager with a few clicks. The best thing, while in your Window Manager your still can access your GUI applications. I really like dmenu, I been using dmenu-extended. https://github.com/MarkHedleyJones/dmenu-extended adding rofi is just a bonus. Simple to access all your GUI applications this way.

Have fun with i3. I still think i3 is the best tiling window manager.
