Laptop doesn't boot after suspend when nvidia drivers are installed

Sat Jan 13, 2018 6:06 pm

My laptop ( a Lenovo Z40-70) has an hybrid graphics card (GT840M), everything was working fine, but after I installed the nvidia drivers to play some steam games problems started. If I suspend the laptop through the OS and don't close the lid, it comes back normally after pressing any key on the keyboard, but if I close the laptop lid when I open it the screen gets black and nothing happens. I had a similar problem on Ubuntu, Fedora, Debian, Mint and Deepin in which the display would show "GPU has fallen of the bus", meanwhile in Manjaro ,Arch and Windows I never had this problem. Can anyone help me on how to solve this on Solus ? I never managed to fix this on the previous mentioned operating systems and the Arch based distros were too unstable for me, so I migrated to Solus in the hope that this GPU problem would not happen.
