Screenshot Keyboard Shortcuts do nothing

Tue Feb 20, 2018 10:22 pm

I installed Solus3.iso and all updates. The keyboard shortcuts list looks like
keyboard-screenshots.png
keyboard-screenshots.png (215.22 KiB) Viewed 256 times
But none of the screenshot keyboard shortcuts is working?!?!

Do I have to install an additional package so that the screenshot keyboard shortcuts do what the list says?

Thanks!

I just add a key short cut. I'm using Alt + P to bring up the screenshot application.

Add Screenshot Shortcut key
I just wanted a quicker way to bring up the gnome-screenshot app. So I went to keyboard in Settings. Stroll to the bottom to click onto add(+). Name: Screenshot Command: gnome-screenshot --interactive Shortcut: Alt + p It work like a charm. None of the build-in Screenshot Shortcut keys didn't work for me. I couldn't change or delete those settings. So I made this one. It work's that's all that matters.

It's work fine for me without install anything. I have use gnome. Are you sure that you understand what every shortcut do ?
For example print(PrtSc) make screenshot of whole screen and put it in /home/pictures/

They might work in GNOME. But, they don't work in Budgie. At least it didn't for me. So I just made my own shortcut Key and setup the screenshot application with these key combo Alt + P

add(+). Name: Screenshot Command: gnome-screenshot --interactive Shortcut: Alt + p It work like a charm.

I for one can confirm that those shortcuts don't seem to work in Budgie.
I use the screenshot applet instead for now.

Software: Solus Budgie | NVidia proprietary drivers
Hardware: Asus N552VW | intel Core i7 6700HQ | NVIDIA GM107M [GeForce GTX 960M] | Intel HD Graphics 530 | Intel Corporation Wireless 7265 | Realtek RTL8111/8168/8411 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet
