gnuplot x11 driver location?

Thu Mar 01, 2018 8:45 pm

Hi,

I am using PyFoam to visualize the intermediate status of simulations (residual control). The status data is analyzed by PyFoam and residual curves are plotted in a gnuplot window while the simulation runs.

PyFoam expects the gnuplot x11 driver at the following location: /usr/lib64/gnuplot/gnuplot/5.2/gnuplot_x11 . This is apparently the standard location on other distributions since I have used it on other distributions before where it worked out of the box.

I get the following error message:
Expected X11 driver: /usr/lib64/gnuplot/gnuplot/5.2/gnuplot_x11
Exec failed: No such file or directory
See 'help x11' for more details
Expected X11 driver: /usr/lib64/gnuplot/gnuplot/5.2/gnuplot_x11
Exec failed: No such file or directory
See 'help x11' for more details

I tested both programs, gnuplot and PyFoam and both are working fine, independently.

What's the Solus gnuplot x11 driver location and/or file that needs to be referenced and how can I make it available for PyFoam?

T.
