Needed before Solus definitively becomes my Desktop OS

Sat Mar 05, 2016 10:15 am

Hi,

I appreciate Solus but for me it needs some conditions to be able to use it each days.
Main requirements are :
1) due to my job I will use Solus in a French frontend (but could stay in english without problem) but I need to be able to write in chinese.
Then Solus must be able to use iBus to allow us to write in chinese
2) it must be able to use the Belgian identity card reader software. This is really needed to access government documents we must manage here belgian citizens. http://eid.belgium.be/en/using_your_eid ... ware/linux

Seondly requirements :
3) a dual panel file manager (like Nautilus, Krusader, ...) is better to save/backup/compare delocalized folders
4) I use Line social program on my smartphone and to run it on a linux OS it must allow to install windows Line program (because they do not have a linux version) : http://line.me/en-US/download

Sincerely thanks to consider those really needed facilities on next Solus version.

Have a nice day.

Anyone already found a solution to this ? Right now I'm running KDE-Neon because I need to run eid-software and the only way I can do it is with some Debian-derivate.

Can you handle using a CLI file manager?

If not, see if you can install Sunflower. Looks like you have to build it from source. I haven't test it out myself.

Or any of these others Double Commander, GIO, emelFM2
