Would be really nice if you could add a tool able to export done changes to .ISO file... so we could use it as LIVE distro.
Let's say I install Solus on my laptop, install required apps, customize some stuff etc. and open gui "a tool" and save .ISO the easy-way.
They are planning to remove the live session in the 2.0 cycle. https://solus-project.com/2015/12/28/1-0-and-beyond/
That would be a huge mistake because it would stop people from being able to "try it before you buy it" when looking for a Linux Distro. You don't know how many times I've booted into a live USB of one Distro or another only to find that something didn't work or that I just didn't like the way it looked so I could simply shut down and move back to my installed OS. If I'd have had to do an install to give the Distro a look then found I didn't like it I'd be more than pissed since I'd have had to bork my already installed system to get a look at the new Distro.
Also, what is this "Cycles" stuff? Isn't Solus going to be a rolling release? Is there going to be an easy way to upgrade between the last 1.x and 2.0 or will you have to Nuke and Pave Over to get the latest, greatest?
