Occasional crash after screen wake

Tue Jun 19, 2018 7:34 am

After blank screen wake up, HiDPI scale is not applied instantly so it switches back and forth.
This screen sometime is simply laggy - mouse moves extremely slow.
And from time to time it crashes, killing everything and restarting lightdm.
This is the start of the crash.

Code: Select all

budgie-panel.desktop[1311]: Crash Annotation GraphicsCriticalError: |[0][GFX1-]: Failed to allocate a surface due to invalid size (DTD) Size(15360,8376) (t=282762) |[1][GFX1-]: Failed to allocate a surface due to invalid size (DTD) Size(15360,8376) (t=282763) |[2][GFX1-]: Failed to allocate a surface due to invalid size (DTD) Size (15360,8376) (t=282764) |[3][GFX1-]: Failed to allocate a surface due to invalid size (DTD) Size(15360,8376) (t=282764) |[4][GFX1-]: Failed to allocate a surface due to invalid size (DTD) Size(15360,8376) (t=282764) | [5][GFX1-]: Failed to allocate a surface due to invalid size (DTD) Size(15360,8376) (t=282764) |[6][GFX1-]: Failed to allocate a surface due to invalid size (DTD) Size(15360,8376) (t=282765) |[7][GFX1-]: Failed to allocate a surface due to invalid size (DTD) Size(15360,8376) (t=283066) |[8][GFX1-]: Failed to allocate a surface due to invalid size (DTD) Size(15360,8376) (t=283067) |[9][GFX1-]: Failed to allocate a surface due to invalid size (DTD) Size(15360,8376) (t=283070) |[10][GFX1-]: Failed to allocate a surface due to invalid size (DTD) Size(15360,8376) (t=283070) |[11][GFX1-]: Failed to allocate a surface due to invalid size (DTD) Size(15360,8376) (t=283071) |[12][GFX1-]: Failed to allocate a surface due to invalid size (DTD) Size(15360,8376) (t=283104) |[13][GFX1-]: Failed to allocate a surface due to invalid size (DTD) Size(15360,8376) (t=283691) [GFX1-]: Failed to allocate a surface due to invalid size (DTD) Size(15360,8376)
After that it goes on about killing each process, e.g.

Code: Select all

kernel: Out of memory: Kill process 12364 (opera) score 306 or sacrifice child
Then I am presented with fresh lightdm login screen.
