what are the solus equivalents of these packages?

gir1.2-gtop-2.0 gir1.2-networkmanager-1.0 gir1.2-clutter-1.0

Fedora:
libgtop2-devel NetworkManager-glib-devel

openSUSE (Leap 42.1):
gnome-shell-devel libgtop-devel libgtop-2_0-10


need them for this https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/ ... m-monitor/

allright
so far ive installed
libgtop-devel
network-manager-devel
clutter-devel
network-manager-applet-devel
clutter-gtk-devel
libgnome-devel

but still no worky. cany anyone see whats missing?

turned out i had all the need packages but it wouldnt work without the dir /usr/local, so i made that dir and now it works :)

You can certainly pass an option --prefix=/usr to the configure script to get it installed in the proper location.
