Oh no, I really shouldn't have been posting before I had my coffee this morning. I forgot to escape the $ sign. Let's try this one more time!

Code: Select all

sudo echo "install wl /sbin/modprobe cfg80211; /sbin/insmod /lib/modules/\$(/bin/uname -r)/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/wl.ko" > hackboot.conf
sudo mv hackboot.conf /etc/modprobe.d/

Two kernels work it, thanks for the time and hope the team can find a permanent solution for this or find the reason's issue.

Happy new year for you and the solus team, is glad to see the project with a great progress (waiting for budgie 11 (hope it be more lightweight, can you see is not a pc with big features) and solus 4 in general)

Hi again (again)

I'm grateful for help me like this issue but in this days i'm thinkig if is possible that this solution can be permanent (run automatic when boot or reboot the system) and don't load manually run the modprobe command at startup.

Thanks for the replay one more time.
