Setting higher resolution

Fri Feb 02, 2018 11:32 pm

Hi there
I have installed Solus on a Lenovo W540 with a screen resolution of 2880x1629, everything is working great but I can't seem to get a resolution higher than 1920x1080.
Is it possible to do this without mucking around with xrandr?
Love Solus! by the way and can't wait to see what 4 has in store for us :)

Many thanks

First advise is to make sure your system is up-to-date, check that all updates are installed in the Software Center and reboot.
Then check in DoFlicky (Hardware drivers) if there is something to install for your GPU.

Thanks mate
I have installed the nvidia drivers, rebooted, nothing else to install.
I still can't get a higher resolution
