Ledger Nano S not recognized

Sat Apr 01, 2017 5:46 pm

Hi,

I've recently bought a Ledger Nano S (Hardware Wallet) but my computer doesn't seems to recognized it.

I've tried to use their script (http://support.ledgerwallet.com/knowled ... d-on-linux) but that's doesn't work either.

Any idea ?

Their script gives access to a group called plugdev, which doesn't exist.... This will list the groups your user is a part of

Code: Select all

id
if you edit /etc/udev/rules.d/20-hw1.rules and change the group from plugdev to one of the groups you are in fact in (likely your username), then you will likely have a chance of it working.

FYI as of today, just executing the script specified on https://support.ledgerwallet.com/hc/en- ... 5005165269 worked.

Code: Select all

wget -q -O - https://www.ledgerwallet.com/support/add_udev_rules.sh | sudo bash
No reboot needed.

Return to “Hardware”
