Just did a clean install on my HP G72 laptop.

Everything went fine, no bugs so far.

Thanks a lot for all the (great) work you're doing on Solus.

Gnome is fantastic, I did a clean install today. I was a real budgie-addict. But Gnome is the best. Some things do not work, But overall : a masterpiece.

Congratulations and excuses for any grammar mistakes, English is not my mothertongue (Dutch).

Greetings, Sunfield, Veghel, The Netherlands.

Following the upgrade I'm unable to login. It accepts my password, but then after a few seconds the screen goes blank and the login window pops up again. It doesn't appear to be an incorrect password issue.

Have you installed Solus or are you running the "Live session"?
If you have installed it, try to do CTRL-ALT-F1 when you have the black screen.

Once logged in, type the following command :

Code: Select all

sudo eopkg up; sudo eopkg check | grep Broken | awk '{print $4}' | xargs sudo eopkg it --reinstall
and then

Code: Select all

sudo reboot
if after reboot you still have problems or if you are running a live session, after switching to CTRL-ALT-F1, type the following command to see the logs:

Code: Select all

journalctl -b
