These new versions of Solus seems great but Budgie and GNOME versions requires more memory ( almost 700 MB for Budgie and more than 1 GB for GNOME before 330 MB and 700 MB respectively ) .
All Solus 3 versions are affected by a problem related to multipath-tools .
Look at this subject for more details :
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=7159&hilit=multipath

Thank you for your job Solus Team ;)
Is there a task on https://dev.solus-project.com/ ?
The following task https://dev.solus-project.com/T4196#76020 is related to multipathd service problem .
I completed it .

Synny, Justin, Ikey or Josh, don't you think it would be a good idea to pin this topic and to unpin "Solus 2017.04.18.0 Now Released" ;)
Haha cheers will do.

Hi!
I've upgraded the system to Solus 3.
I've checked and actually the "Details -> Base system" label says "Solus 3 64-bit". It looks also that the new feature are working. :)

But, actually, my kernel is still at 4.9.x. Is it normal? How can I update also the kernel? I've a notebook with a Kaby Lake CPU, the new kernel would fit better (at least I think ;)).

Thank you!

ps: Great work, I'm really proud to support this!!!
Same here. Would be nice if the kernel would also upgrade itself automatically.
Is that a bug?

Nah no bug. We didn't want to force people onto the newer kernel if they were happy to continue using the LTS one. If you want to upgrade you can, completely optional. The LTS kernel will continue to receive updates as normal so have no fear. :)

Goodday, from the Software Center -> search -> linux-current - install both 4.12.7 -> reboot and choose the 4.12 image. :)

Thanks!
I'll give a try, I think I've a problem with my CPU (but I don't have time now to post what's going on) and maybe this solves it.
