Updates had to reboot

Sun Jan 14, 2018 3:04 pm

Solus just had new updates today. 41 of them, I believe it was. Browser was slow, so I log out and log back in. Now no volume at all. Not detecting any of my output devices. I simply reboot and everything is working normally. Fast and got all my volume output devices are showing. Just letting you all know.

I discover if you quickly log-out and log-in. Sound will not work. If you log-out wait for 30sec-1min, before logging back in. Then the sound will work. It's a bug, that they seem can't fix in Solus 3. But, promise it will be fix by Solus 4. Just an annoying bug, that can become a hassle. So my new update wasn't the cause of this. The slow down in the browser might of been related, not sure.

An update has been pushed that should mitigate this. i.e. before if you logged back in within 20s, there would be no sound devices...now it is 4s, so most people shouldn't hit it anymore

Still having those intermittent sound issues. No real pattern of when sound will work or not. Rebooting sometimes helps, sometimes doesn't.
