Cintiq Companion 2 as a secondary monitor

Sun Apr 15, 2018 11:12 pm

I've tried to connect my Cintiq Companion 2 to a desktop computer running the live version of Solus.

The Cintiq is recognized in the monitor setup, but the resolution is wrong (1920x1080, it should be 2560×1440) and display is black.

In the Wacom section of gnome control center it says that no Wacom device is detected.

If I insert the Solus usb stick in the Cintiq everything works fine, but I'd really rather use it as a dumb Cintiq device as the pc hardware in it is getting pretty long in the tooth.

Any advice?
