Can't type after waking the system up

Sun Jun 10, 2018 1:00 pm

Hello everyone. I'm having an issue with Solus and I was hoping someone would be able to help me out.

Whenever I close the laptop or I leave it for a while, it puts itself into sleep. I don't have an issue with this, but when I want to wake it up and type in my password it doesnt register any keys I press. Mouse works, I just can't type. Anyone knows how I could solve this issue? Love the Distro aside from this little issue.

Thank you very much.

On my Acer Travelmate, I just press the space bar once or twice, but it may take 2, 3, or 4 seconds before the password login screen pops up. So, just wait till the count of 4 or 5 before you do anything else. Also, you do have some customizations available in the Power Settings config.

Can you run in LIVE mode? First thing is to recover any needful data/files.

Also - did you change any settings related to "Power"? Do you have an adequate swap file or swap partition?

Prep yourself for . . . . RE_INSTALL . . . .
