Changing my gpu

I want to replace my gpu from amd (rx 460) to nvidia (gtx 1080 ti). What I should do to leave my system in bootable state ?

Well...I have a GTX 1080Ti and it worked fine with correct resolution e.t.c, right after install, before I installed nvidiadrivers.
So that tells me you should be fine just uninstalling the amd drivers, turn of computer, swap the cards, boot back in to Solus and install the nvidiadrivers.

Thanks. But I prefer answer from the devs or someone with similar experience.
In manjaro i just need to replace the gpu and call hardware detection tool form tty

Just check the nvidia drivers in the software center or directly in the repository and you'll see that Solus ships the 390.x drivers which supports all Pascal GPU's

I need the procedure. What I should do step by step
- make sure your system is up-to-date (sudo eopkg up)
- back up your important data
- install the Nvidia driver (sudo eopkg it nvidia-glx-driver-current)
- shut down your computer and remove the plug
- open it and remove the old graphics card
- insert the Nvidia graphics card
- close your computer and put the plug back
- turn on your computer
- send lot of $$$ on my bank account for the free support :mrgreen:

Didn't work for me at all. The think that I should do after replace the gpu and rebooting are
reinstall x.org
install gtx driver
unistall noveu
install nvidia 32bit driver for steam
