close the lid but S.O. suspend

Hello

i want close the lid of my notebook but the system must be rest in running state.

i try to edit

pietro@torbjon ~ $ cat /etc/systemd/logind.conf|grep HandleLid
HandleLidSwitch=ignore
#HandleLidSwitchExternalPower=suspend
#HandleLidSwitchDocked=ignore

and restart systemd-logind but not work

any idea?

Did you succeed? I also want to prohibit suspend on lid close and am looking for the "correct" solution.

Answering to myself: Solved by editing /etc/systemd/logind.conf:
replace
#HandleLidSwitch=suspend
by
HandleLidSwitch=ignore
